4g64 head gasket recommendations
I have a built 2.4 with a big valve cosworth head, it is pushing coolant when i hit full boost. So it currently has the cometic MLS gasket .51 thick with the cosworth studs. I don't know if the tune, studs, or gasket were the issue. Either way I am debating on what gasket to use, and whether I should go with either the l19 or 625 custom aged studs? I just don't want to have to deal with this again... At least for a while.
If u are running a 2.4, what gasket are you using, what power are you putting out, and how long has it lasted you so far? |
Im running the l19 studs and stock evo 8 gasket. 45psi no problem. I had the gasket bored with the build and had an extra one made as well. 650whp only 1000 miles on it so far.

Not trying to bring a thread up from the dead but what gasket did you end up going with?
|
The Norris design option seems to be reliable with the H11 stud kit
|
Looks like they use a cosworth gasket.
