What's the best 20g turbo?
 

I have a Evo 8 with full bolt ons and am ready for an upgrade. I know I will have to get the supporting mods once I upgrade but I want to know what you guys think is the best all around turbo.

FP Green 71hta
FP Green 73hta
Tomie Arms M7960
Bushur Green
CBRD BBK
Tomioka Racing 20g

I just sent my evo 9 turbo off to turbolab to have it converted to a 7 blade billet 20g.

I should have numbers in the next couple weeks

Of the listed turbos the most powerful is 73HTA. They don't make the other Green anymore. Fastest spool HKS.

I might be wrong, but I don't think that CBRD BBK is 20g based.
The Tomei is not the best 20g turbo but it's really a good bargain nowadays. Very good finishing & build quality, but it's slower in spool than those BB 20g based turbos.

i have the Tomioka racing 20g. 22 psi by 3800rpm. the spool is so dang loud with the anti surge cover. its decent for what it is. but i should have saved an extra 300 bucks and got the FP Green. has bigger compressor wheel, and will flow a bit more air.

BBK it is about .010 smaller than 20g.


HTA green is loud. all ported covers make noise.

I second the HKS 7460R. best all around turbo is this catagory.
