Evo drops in rpm when clutch in and oil light flashes

Hi,

Recently i have been noticing when driving that when i'm coming to slow down/stop and i clutch in, my engine will suddenly drop in rpm to <500rpm (sometimes sounds like it's off). The oil light will flash and then the engine will pick back up again to 1000rpm and the light will go off. It happens randomly, at least once during my drive, even if the engine is warm.

My car has a bit done to it, such as GSC s2 cams, and has been tuned. I brought it back to my tuner, and he reset some idle table(?) (not sure), but it still happens.

I'm guessing the oil light flashes because the rpm is so low, so it wouldn't be anything to do with the oil sensor like what some other threads have said, right? I really don't know.

I'm just not sure why the rpm is dropping so low when i clutch in. Could it be a tuning problem?

When at idle and you sink the clutch does the rpm drop?

Well if it didn't happen before you tuned it, and it did happen afterwards yes, my bet is on the tune. It could also maybe be the IAC motor.

Nah, only when i'm slowing down. It doesn't happen all the time either. Maybe once in a 30min drive. Some days it doesn't do it at all.

I don't mind it happening, i just hope that letting the engine drop that low in rpm will damage it in any way.
