Battery cold cranking amps! What's to much?

Hey guys.
I have been looking around to buy a battery and started wondering what's to much/to little for cold cranking amps. Interstate has a battery that has 1000-1100 Cold cranking amps. Will that fry anything?
I'm pretty stupid when it comes to electronics and wires. I will be relocating battery to trunk. Will have battery kill switch for the race track.
Setup is
Evo 9
2.4 10.1cr
Top mount 6765
ID 2k e85
Aeromotive eliminator pump with billet controller.
R2

Thanks

While I agree for the most part, what are you accomplishing by having a battery with 1000CCA?

Will it work? Of course it will. However I see no benefit to leveraging such a powerful battery. It'll be heavier and larger is size which isnt ideal in my mind.

I was gonna go with a large battery like that in the trunk only because I was able to get one for free. They are pretty heavy, and it is a bit much. Like was said above though, nothing harmful with more cca.

Fwiw, Im running a Worldpac brand Miata battery, 320cca, relocated to the trunk with 0 gauge power wire and 2 gauge ground. Cranking is really fast and provides plenty of juice. datalogs show even wot runs with accessories on Im showing 14.0v
