Help! Car sounds like.it's about to die :(

So here's the deal, bought a '10 Evo X a month and a half ago. Has been running fine until 2 days ago. I ran the car a little, and I started hearing a noise from the engine. Stopped to put gas and then when I went back to turn it on and head back it started bogging on me. It won't accelerate properly either. So now I have the car sitting out while I figure out what's wrong. Checked sparkplugs and one was blown, so that's been replaced. And yeah. I need help trying to figure out what could be wrong here. Any help is appreciated.

Physically damaged spark plug? Got pictures?

Yeah, the little metal ear was gone. I know it could have possibly messed things up since it was gone but I know there's a chance it didn't as well. I don't have a pic but yeah. That was the issue there.

Ok then. Put new plugs in. Gap them to .020". Make sure you have no boost leak. If it's still not running fine after the restart you may have to do a compression test and leak down test if the compressions don't look correct.

Exactly the same problem I had! Just hope that piece of the spark plug shot out the exhaust valve

What would the compression have to be at?

I am not exactly sure for the X engine. But the important thing is for them to be in the same range.
Someone with concrete numbers please chime in.
