E85 Injector Question

Looking to convert my 03 evo to E85, only engine modification is an evo 9 turbo.

Currently have a Walbro 255 installed but not sure what injectors to run. I am planning on running 1000cc injectors since I plan on keeping modifications minimal.

Do I run Low-Z or High-Z? Looking at kits on STM they recommend the FPR, is adding the adjustable FPR necessary?

I just kept it simple & ran the RC1000's on E85 (PL4-1000-EVO). Been running them for approx 6 years (approx 85% IDC)

Youll need a 3 port boost controller so you can adjust boost via the ECU if youre going that route

No FPR needed on a first or second level E85 tune

Great thanks for the tip! I am looking at FIC 1100cc High-Z injectors with the resistor bypass plug for around $530 (IS126-1100H)

With the price range between high and low, for $100 ish extra, maybe I'll just stick with the High?

Who will be tuning your vehicle? If you already have a specific tuner in mind, you should definitely get his opinion on which injector to go with. Some tuners tend to have a specific injector they like to tune for ease of tuning as well as they have plenty of tunes under their belt with said specific injector.

Just my opinion. I chose an injector based on my goals for the car and also tuner recommendations. That is important in my book.
