Clutch Fork Pivot Position

I just reinstalled a new transmission and replaced the clutch assembly(not the pressure plate since it looked good. Showed ACT and they said it was fine). I don't know where the pivot point sat prior but with everything installed the pivot on the clutch fork is closer towards the engine rather than I'm assuming it should be closer to the middle? Everything shifts fine, my clutch grabs past the middle closer to the top of the travel rather than the bottom. I haven't had any shifting issues yet but again this is all regular easy driving since break in is 1000-1500 miles for the drivetrain.

tl;dr - Is the clutch fork position ok where it's showing in the picture? This is when in neutral.

Seems fine. Is the pedal properly adjusted?

I adjusted it so it start catching above the halfway mark. I didn't do the whole adjust it till the slave cylinder is no longer able to be pressed back and then back it out a couple turns.

I adjust it by free play. Never heard of the method you speak of there...lol

Does adjusting it change the amount of free play? So let's say I got half an inch(currently in traffic and feels like half an inch but not exact measurements), is that suffice?

Adjusting it changes the freeplay and engagement point.

Adjusting the pedal doesn't change the pistons of the fork though. Position of fork is dictated by how much the pressure plate is collapsed.

It's fine where it's at. I wouldn't worry about it.
