CAS relocation

Hey guys, I did a few searches but the search only seemed to return everything except what I was looking for.
Long story short, I'm wanting to relocate the CAS from the rear of the block on an evo 9 mivec 4g63 for a rwd conversion into a different car.
My question is, has anyone attempted this by using a custom cas solution with the cam gears instead?
The car will be running a Haltech Elite so the standard ECU is not a problem.
I've scoured the project zero g forums and a heap of other sites and everything seems to relate to the dsm and not quite what I'm looking for.
Apologies if this annoys anyone being posted here but I'm clutching at straws for answers.

Edit. cam position sensor, not crank angle.

Cheers.

For the intake or the exhaust? Or both?

I would imagine you need to make a reluctor wheel that somehow mounts to the cam gear, and then a mount for the sensor. Some who's good with math could easily make a larger wheel mimic the pattern of the stock wheel.

You're going to make a huge headache for yourself attempting this. Just clearance the firewall to fit it.

Both, they will both foul the firewall and engine bay space is limited. I think the kiggle kit maybe can be modified to work. Thanks man

The problem is that ideally I'd like to get the car engineered, in Australia modifications to a firewall are pretty heavily scrutinised so I'm exploring all other possibilities first.

This company makes a relocation for the sensors, might help enough for your rwd conversion.

Thanks mate, from what i can see, they remain on the back of the head. Looks like great quality gear though. I guess a bigger problem is going to be the water outlet and thermostat housing, any solutions for that haha?
