Not too happy, help me!

I let my buddy drive my car... thing is, he drove it better than me. Leaving a parking lot, 1st to second, we heard a pop. We got to the corner.. smelled something gassyl. The car began to idle really weird, below 1 grand. It then started to stall out.. When you give it gas, it putters, goes up, goes below your starting point, then goes to the starting point. It will idle, but very choppy. When you give it gas, it goes up, drops down below the starting, and does the same, idles out. really chopppy. It's like the timing is off. I've been running the same boost for months, even though I just realized it's at 21psi. Weird coincidence, but the car wont move from the parking spot. What could be up? I'm 57 miles from the nearest delaership, let me know!

Thanks.

Check all hose. One of the hose/coupling might pop out.

I got to experience it yesterday when I was trying to install a BOV. I loose some hose clamp and forgot to tighten it. While test driving, one of the intake hose pop out. I just have to reconnect the hose and tighten the clamp. All went well and the car is happy again.

Yes, that sounds like an intercooler hose popped off.

Intercooler hose. if it doesn't pop off totally it will idle all sorts of retarded. I pretty sure that is your problem.

That's exactly what happened... right near the windshield wiper, the clamp came completely off when the piping came free!

Great you found your problem.

If you planned to boost more, make sure all clamps at every connection on the intercool piping are secure and tight. A little bit tight won't hurt.
