Got my car dyno'ed and tuned today (91 octane )
Just got back from dyno and my results was quite pleasing.... 288WHP and 266lb/TQ. Thanks to Gruppe-S and its crew, especially Devon the mechanic who came out with me to ATP to tune. With just a few runs on the dyno, Devon was able to get my car up to par.
Here are my modds: Helix DP, Helix TP, HKS exhaust, Blitz sbc ID @20lbs, and S-AFC. Later on this wk cams+gears and 02 housing will be in and I will be back on the dyno to tune and break my 300 mark. Just a quck Q: When you guys state your A/f ratio which RPM point do you state? Because my A/f starts from 13.5:1 ( 2200rpm) -> 10.5:1 (6800) Thanks! |

the usual is to start a little lean since you just stepped on the gas then it should go richer. if your stating your car runs 13 for a while then ends at 10 you may be to Rich. if you can post your dyno sheet with the Air/Fuel curve this will help.
|
no he said 13.5 at 2200 rpm. normally when you are not at WOT your air fuel will be around 14.7. so when you mash the gas it takes a little time to get to your target air/fuel ratio. if anything he is probably a little rich as he ends up at 10.5.

By the time your at full boost (3000ish rpms), your AFR should be 11:1 (on 91 oct) all the way to redline. If you run 93oct, you can lean out a little more. If you run race gas you canm lean out to 12.5:1 (12:1 is safer).
|
thats more like what you should be doing kinda of a quick slope from 13-14 as you get into the gas then level off in the 11s until redline. going from Lean down to Rich at the end.

That's really good considering the mods and the 91 Cali piss! {thumbup}
Don' stock EVOs dyno around 210-215whp at ATP? |
some stock evo's are around between 230-240whp , AWD jet dyno.
