My evo's boost.....
 

To start off I have only a couple of mods done to my '03 EVO VIII: HKS Turbo Timer, RS Kit, and EVC Boost controller...(I have had all on for about 4 months)

My situation: I am driving in third gear @ 3,000RPM's and I put the pedal to the floor, my turbo spools to about 8psi till it hits 4,000RPM's then it shoot immediately up to 19psi and by 4,500RPM's the RPM's waiver back to 4,250 and then proceed to 7,000 (the whole time my foot is to the floor)...what is going on??????????

Obviously its either my ECU or my boost controller...has ne one else had this prob???

you may have a leak in one of you vacum lines.

I checked all my vaccum lines today and they are all on there securely...my friend and I are going to take it off and going to see if it is in fact the boost controller...then if it is still acting up we may take it to the dealership and see if they can figure it out...but I would rather not have to go through all of that if ne one has ne other ideas????
