does anyone know what the two "knobs" are onthe hks eids?
it might be causing the problem, but i cant read japanese
and would like to know if it is a tuning problem.

You have the wires from maf and to ecu reversed. One knob doesn't get used, the other one I set at \ , exactly like that. Almost near the top, but still a bit aways. I'd say the 10-oclock position. Reverse the wires from maf and to ecu, and your problem will be fixed :)

would that be the white and yellow wires.. where you had to cut the wire in half and connect the eids to both ends?
