1/4 mile on BONE STOCK V///

So i just got back from capitol RAceway...

First let me start by saying how unorganized they are. I called them yesterday an hour b4 me and my friend left and theys aid they were open...We drive 30 mins fighting traffic and get there and they're closed. I was soo pissed, the track was dry as a bone and it was a beautiful night.

So we went today for bracket racing. They said gates open at 1130 and e/t runs begin at 12 and last till 430.....They didnt start drying the track untill 1130...my first run was 4pm. I ran a 14.5 and my friend ran 14.8 in is Z. this was my first time EVER running on a track before and his 3rd so we're sorry.

2 hours later it was time for our second run. here's teh slip......i was happy

nice run for your first time, with better launches you will improve tho, cuz the normal 60' for an average drive is around 1.7 1.8, nice run tho

I never dragged in my life before. I ran a 13.8 on the only run that I took and with a passenger in the MR.

I did not launch due to the fact that I do want to be easy on the clucth especially during break in

I rolled on the accelerator at around 2500 rpm my track speed was 100MPH flat.

for your first time thats pretty good, but you're going to see a lot of improvement with more practice. work on your 60' and shift your 1-2 faster, try to bring that 5.79 - 330' down to a 5.5 and you'll see 13.6 -13.7

Went to Ennis

Well that makes ME feel a little better. I took mine to Ennis last night, there's what I had and I missed 4th gear. Btw, it's an '04 with Injen intake and i/c piping...

R/T .961
60' 1.888
330' 5.648
1/8 8.801
MPH 77.95
1000' 11.601
1/4 13.946
MPH 96.6

For PRETTY much stock I thought it was OK, but missing 4th gear hurt. I'm installing the boost control tomarrow to see how much it cuts down on the time holding the boost at 19psi.

Great run DJriice...

My friend also ran his totally stock evo.

He started of with a 14 sec run. He was improving on every run. And by the end of the night, he cracked of a 13.5 @ 99.8. with a 1.8x 60ft.

He was shifting the sh** out of it though.

i ran a 13.4 but that wasnt on my first try i came from low 14's a 13.9 then i was about to leave so i just dropped the clutch.(i dont like doing that) and it worked great but its gonna be a looong time before i hurt my baby like that again, its just not worth it to me the only reason i did that cuz my buddy w/an 05' sti ran a 13.6 and was throwin' it around.

yeh, that could be done easily. just improve your 60' a bit and you'll be good.

Aras ran 13.7 all night long at 99mph on a bone stock evo with 26,000 miles on it.
