Thumbs up autometer gauges!!! new NEXUS style

just went to autometers web site
http://hp.autometer.com/homepage/homepage.html and checked out the new gauges. pretty hawt...no more complaining from the people that want the RED gauge or the white LED gauge, you have the option of changing colors yourself. they seem to be using the stepping motor just like DEFI, HKS, GREDDY and others. seems to have lots of features that may be useful to tuners. check em out. i hope the price isnt as much as DEFI or the others out there. looks like autometer is stepping up to the plate to the imports and listening....

Those look nice. Might have to get rid of the Defi's if the price is right.

Dear Sir,

The Nexus gauge series is currently scheduled for a January release. As
we get closer to then, the release date will become more firm. Please
feel free to check back with me via email for updates.

As for pricing, the individual gauges with senders will sell for
approximately $199-249.00 each. The Sensor Module and Remote is sold as
a kit for approximately $199. This is required for Nexus gauge
operation.

The initial lineup is for the following 7 gauges:

6455: Water Temp (100-260)
6459: Boost/Vac (30 In. Hg. / 30 PSI)
6445: EGT (0-2,000)
6453: Oil Pressure (0-100 PSI)
6456: Oil Temperature (140-300)
6474: Nitrous Pressure (0-1600)
6463: Fuel Pressure (100 PSI)
6400: Sensor Module + Remote Control

We have tentative plans to offer additional instruments, but these will
be finalized and announced in the coming months. The first of which
will likely be a tachometer to be available in the early Spring of 2005.

Sincerely,
Marc Erickson

Talking

hmmmmmmm the defi gauges seem cheaper in price and they are available. i guess if you want the luxury of changing colors yourself, then wait for the autometer. if not then i guess get what it available now-defi or many reputable others. as for me, i dont have any gauges right now. may have to wait for the autometers. still waiting on my exhaust that was ordered 3 weeks ago...from a reputable dealer. i am a patient person. i can wait for good things...

those are very nice. Autometer guages have always worked well, racers use them everywhere. But now they have the looks to go with the capability!

I am now reconsidering my Defi BF Amber purchase!
