Okay well searching has rendered to be pointless, so Im just going to ask. Can someone recommend a good driving school in eastern USA that will teach one how to drive these EVO's the way they scream to be driven.
Well thanks in advanced.

Seat time racing track in Savannah, GA. I haven't actually gone but they say it is awesome. Evolution driving school which is in GA somewhere also is good for autocross pointers.
for NY/New Englanders there is the BMWCCA advanced driving schools in NH and Watkins Glen, NY. I went to the class in NH, they had me drive my rsx on wet down parking lot at the NHIS, on a skidpad, figure eight for powersliding, abs breaking, advanced lane changes, and at the end an autoX. there was also some class sessions teaching us about contact patches, apexes, weight transfer, etc. costs $75 for non-members www.bmwcca.org
for u in NH im pretty sure that BMW has a class there where you drive BMW's since there plant is in NC. dunno tho.

A good website w/ events on the east coast. Any club drivers education is a good starting point. It doesn't have to be evo specific to be good. Porsche club, bmw club, scca, seat time, ect....... There is prob an event at every track on the east coast allmoast every weekend. Tracks around NC inlcude carolina motorsports park in kershaw SC. Virginia international around Danville NC, Roebling road in Sav GA, Road Atlanta.

Check out Seat-Time.com It is a great way to get on track and learn how to drive the Evo. I have done a couple of their days and they are great. They are affordable and you get a lot more time on track than other driving schools.

then go to the "virginia" region to see the schedule. Most likely the 2005 schedule is not up just yet, but in February there is usually something at VIR (virginia internation raceway) which is just north of NC.
NASA has lots of HPDE's.... from beginner to advance. Instructors stay with you until you are in HPDE3 or higher.
you could also try www.carguys.com ... very similar stuff at different tracks.
If you want to try Summit Point ( www.summitpoint-raceway.com ) it is not horribly far from North Carolina. They have FATT (Friday at the track) where they provide instructors.
Lots of choices! Since you are in North Carolina, check out road atlanta and see what they have. I know NASA runs there once in a while, but they may have their own private stuff as well.
