If you had to go with one over the other, and reasons for.

I always like to make sure that i have good oil pressure to ensure that my entire engine is gettin lubricated. For the temp. , i mainly rely on my water temp guage.

Pressure, due to the fact that an engine with out oil will fail faster than an engine with hot oil.

I personally like both. I'm looking for a small (OEM style) pressure gauge to replace my stock boost gauge in the panel. I will then get a "real" boost gauge and and mount it where it should be.

Both are important but lack of proper lubrication will kill an engine faster than anything.

that's incorrect. I know it's what the website says, but it's wrong. The factory gauge package comes with voltage, boost and oil temp.

water temp usually rises faster, and the oil temp lags a bit. I usually have standard operating water temp in about 4 min of startup, takes about 10min to get al the way up to full temp.

if the oil temp is overheating, the water temp will overheat too? I don't think that's right
