The most relevant question should be: What is your interest rate and term?

I could have a $100 car payment if I put a new car on a home equity line...

Your payment is totally dependent upon the deal you make, the interest rate you get, the down payment you make, possible trade in values, taxes, etc. To figure out your payment just whip out a calculator. Your monthly payment can be basically what ever you want it to be deppending upon what you start with and the length of your loan.
