Snowed on my a$$ yesterday.

Snowed in Chicago yesterday and I wasnt ready for it. I still have my Falken Azenis' on the car. the 40 mile drive home was a little stressfull with all the morons driving next to the salt trucks and not letting me pass. I think I should have kept my Audi for a daily driver.

When you get snow tires you will never repeat what you just said.

The Azenis are not too good in the snow, actually pretty bad. I couldnt stop downhill on snow and pretty much had to slowly idle to take off. I dont recommend them for even light snow or even rain for that matter.

i can answer this first hand. When I had my 95 Integra GSR I had them on my car during the snowstorm NYC had a year or two ago on X-Mas. I drove to a buddies house in a Ghetto part of Queens for the XMas party he was hosting and later in the night the snow accumulated to a point where I could not get out at all. i had like 5-6 guys push my car but it wasnt going anywhere, SUV's and 4x4's were driving on the sidewalk to get around me.... The Azenis suck in snow....NO TRACTION Period. I was stupid and thought that since I had a 1.5 way Kaaz LSD that I can get out well, I was wrong...

I had to leave my car parked overnight in the ghetto and prayed the whole night that when I came back in the morning that the car would be there. anyhow it snowed so much that the car was unreconizable anyhow....

when I came back in the morning the plows had come thru and salted the road, so i was able to go home

My ABS was working overtime on Wednesday 4:00 p.m.

It was fun doing mini drifts though. Oh well.....time to use the wife's Rav-4 next time it snows.

I have to say I did have some fun in the work parking lot and then when I was trying to be controlled I almost got stopped by a curb, I would have jacked my rims but I luckily stopped. I was only going like 2mph too. Not good for snow.
