your high lights and HID's are plug and play but the fog light harness is different. In order for your fog lights on your headlights to work, you have to rewire it somehow.

There was a little thread on this sometime back.

Everything but fog lights

you're original question says "tailights" and those are plug 'n' play.

however since you are asking about foglights and i don't think we have rear foglights on our cars then it seems like you are asking about the JDM headlights. in that case, plokivos is right and you need to do some wiring to get the foglights to work.

I am asking about the JDM taillights (black mirror) not for the headlights. I have a euro spec MR and it has rear fog light. After the installation of the JDMs the fog light is not working! If the US MR version doesn't have rear fog light then you cant help....

Euro Spec MR

Doesn't the Euro Spec Evo's have a seperate Foglight (Dealer Fitted) (little rectangular light) usually on the rightside of the Tag / Registration plate.
Sounds like you're talking about the Reversing / backup lights.

Also if it is a Euro Spec MR how come you don't already have Black bezels on you Headlights and taillights.
I thought it was just the US that got shafted on the lights, nothing was said about Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Poland, Czech and so on.

What? Damn dude.....I have a USDM version Evo. Mine didn't come with the rear fog lamp you are talking about. I know all about the wiring that you are wondering about, including where you need to splice in to make your rear fog lamp work again.

But, since .............

No. They are VERY benificial. Think of it as a 3rd brake light, except they are on all the time when your front fog lights are on. It keeps stupid people from rear ending you in the fog. The US needs to make them mandatory.

Nah, this one stays lit all the time when you have your front fog lights turned on. If it's foggy, you turn on your front fog lights and one light in the rear (besides yoru normal tail lights) turns on as well. It is brighter and the lens is cut differently, so it penetrates through fog better and can be seen at farther distance without blinding the people behind you. Trust me. I've been to Europe before, and I loved the rear fog lamps on cars. One of my biggest complaints of drivers in the US is the ever-so-popular inability to drive in the rain, or during any foul weather.
