05 RS T/C in a 03 EvoVIII?

Will this work? Since it has the helical LSD int he TC? I'm guessing its stronger thant he 03 evo's T/C because it has a LSD. If not, my main question... WHAT WOULD I DO TO MAKE MY T/C STRONGER??

I have heard of people swapping the transfer cases out. Don't about cost or reliability though.

05RS uses ACD. Are you planning to use the whole ACD unit with pump wiring and all? This sound like a hard job to get this to work not to mention the cost. Probably cheaper to sell your car and buy an 05RS.

Opps, I'm not thinking straight. LSD is in the T/C.

I've heard the 05 LSD will not work without ACD.

I think you need to use the 03/04 model LSD which I do not know if it'll fit the 05T/C and if it will work with ABS without ACD?

Yep, all of the people I'm aware of are using the 04 TC.. One thing to be aware of is the minor problems with the LSD in the 04 TC and the 03's ABS brakes.. I have to assume its not a problem on the street, but a bit quirky with heavy braking into turns.. (at least this was the feedback from 2 people who have the 04 TC in an 03)
