I just had an Airwolf alarm/remote start with built-in TT installed. I know most people haven't heard of it, but it's pretty cool and if you Google it you'll find some good reviews. It only cost me 440 installed, two-way paging system, light up LED screen that lets you know if your car is being f'kd with. It will also tell you what PART of your car is being attacked. Pretty cool. Has a user-adjustable sensitivity unit and all kinds of other nifty stuff. Just a thought...

agreed. the installers at the place i used to work had a website they could go to to look up any diagrams they didn't have. if this guy can't get a simple diagram, go elsewhere.

good luck no matter which path you choose - i voted for alarm, BTW. i have the matrix 3.5 which is a nice alarm with TT built in. i like it - the only thing that bothers me (and it only bothers me a little) is that i have to push a button on the remote to activate the TT before i shut the car off. i wish the TT would just kick in every time i turn the car off like a regular TT does, but i can live with pushing 1 button to have the best of both worlds.

TT is unnessecary. The only way you would need a TT, or something similar is if you hauled *** into a parking lot and locked the brakes up sliding into a space. Otherwise, the time it takes you to slowly find a place to park and get ready to exit the car, is more than adequate the let the turbo spin/cool down enough to shut off the car. Now if you want a TT for the "cool" factor, that's another story. They are a good idea, but technology has kinda caught up to it, making it unnessecary IMHO.

agree, u can get both just let who ever is installing it know u got or will be getting a turbo timer. As for using the alarms timer yes it will do what it is supost to do but think about this. U buy an alarm becasue its an alarm system, so if u want a good turbo timer, buy a real turbo timer. Of course this is just my opinion and if ur only going to get one then get the alarm cuz the factory one is pretty $hity.
