TCs under Drivetrain Warr?

is a transfer case covered under drivetrain warranty?

Yes.....read the Mitsu warrenty manual (its with the tire and car booklets Mitsu gave when you buy the car new)

holy crap...it is? so if my TC is making that horrible whine and i take it in, will they change it for free? If it is why are people BUYING TCs? Do u think my ACT clutch will affect it? They wouldnt take the tranny apart fromt he engine would they?

well, i've heard people getting their entire drivetrain warranty voided because of intakes and blow off valves, so you never know. there's a chance they will take a look at your clutch, just as an excuse to try and void your warranty from the get go.

They will void your warranty for aftermarket clutch.Puts more stress on drive line.

it all depends on how dick your dealer is. Sometimes they will over look it and some times they wont. I talked to them and they said technically an intake would void your entire warranty so it all depends. But its worth a shot just dont tell them anything
