Issues no problems

I have not had any problems, just a couple of PITA things @ 4k miles:

Driver seat rubs agains the center armrest (leather seats) and it makes a squeeky farty noise If I raise the armrest up it goes away. Why designed it like that I dunno???

I have a crack in my windshield

My turbo glows red/orange after driving???

I frequently get the urge to absolutely blaze away from a stop to 60MPH

I bumped my head on the rear wing after bending down behind the car....damn that carbon fiber is tough

SUCKING PETROL

armrest: tighten your screws on the armrest hinge.

liquid glass to fix your windshield, so it wont crack anymore

you drive the hell out of your car. yeh, they do that.

that's normal. I have the absolute urge to do a 1/4 mile run everytime I stop.

don't hurt your head.

move out of california.

I don't know if that will help. The right side bolster actually rests on the armrest/console lid when I sit in the seat. Either my back is too wide or the leather on the armreast increases the size of it too much. I'll spray some oil on it

You can't always go from reverse to first or vice versa in one throw in a Mitsubishi. It even mentions that issue in the manual. I have to either "double clutch" or lift off the clutch like you say a bit to do it in my car. Now, if you are having that problem while rowing through the gearbox, then that is a problem.

I had my gearbox "lock".. Turned out to be a bent selector fork.. Mine's an 03 but it happene done day when I was going into 5th.. and stayed locked when I turned the engine off.. Never tried to lift the pedal up any more, but when the car was towed back to the dealer, they didn't find anything wrong (I suppose when the car was towed it "unlocked" the gears) I always smelled gear oil after they did a TSB repair on my car (5th gear synchro) and I figured it leaked enough to drop the level so the lube was low.. I haven't had the problem since then, and they never "Claimed to have fixed it" they just never found anything wrong (or so they claimed)

Obviously I haven't had any trouble since.. I've run a few very low 12 second runs and recently, 2 mid 11 second runs on the stock clutch and drivetrain since then..
