Got pulled over

is it me or are a lot of people getting pulled over recently?

I got pulled over for not using signal light when I was changing lanes.

Which I got away with a warning.

Stupid Lincoln Navigator looks at me for a while as I'm coming toward him and gets out right in front of me just before I get there.

That's not the worst part, the idiot in navigator pulls out and goes 2 mph, so I had to wave to get out of its ugly slow suv a ss. Then of course the cops are think I'm racing or something.

I passed the guy on navigator and as sholes on the phone, yacking away.

I hate suv's. They're the poison in our lands.

I couldn't agree with you more on the SUVs...

SUV's are a plague to our streets and highways. Around here it is a damn miracle if you ever see one of those a-holes use their turn signal. They drive like they own the fkn road. It pisses me off so much. I've been exercising my middle finger a lot lately.

If i had a dollar for everytime a middle-age-blond-lady on the phone in a SUV/SUT/**** (Sport Luxery Utility Truck) pulled out in front of me I'd be a happy boy.

Don't you just hate Atlanta drivers? I think they are the worst, driving their SUVs and pickups while on the phone. I have 2 SUV's but don't drive like an idiot like most do. Atlanta just has horrible drivers.

UMmmmmmm lets see there are more cops on the street during the holiday season and they use things, like your blinker, as probable cause to pull you over and see if you have been drinking. Since you were not, he was not interested in giving you a ticket because that was not his real reason for pulling you over. Just how he got away with it

I got pulled over twice in the last week, both times it was for having limo tint (5%) on my front windows, the first time i got a fix it ticket, the second time i showed the cop my fix it ticket and he let me go. The funny thing is I have 50% on my windshield and neither cop noticed it. I have a buddy thats a highway patrol so I am just going to have him sign the ticket and leave on the tint.

my girlfriend got a ticket last night @ a DUI checkpoint for her HID's in her Accord.
Holiday sesaon they pull a lot of people over, also in hawaii don't forget, the rookies just graduated, and they are just starting out, so if you get pulled over from a rookie, you wont get away cause he probably has a seargent watching.
as for suv's, i don't mind them, i don't drive em, but some have a purpose and if we had a choice between a minivan and an suv,( i.e.) had to get one), most of us would pick an suv. personaly if i had to get an suv, i would get a 93 typhoon.

Ive only been pulled over when I deserved it. Going over 1 Bill is asking for trouble.
There is a problem though. I see lots of SUVs going 80-90 MPH and never getting pulled over for it. Considering these cars weigh 2 to 3 times as much as regular cars and are higher up resulting in more damage to smaller cars you would think they were far more likely to be pulled over. They are more visible and easier to lose control in. On top of that they are hard to stop and easier, due to size and visibility, to plow into other vehicles. I tend to see import cars pulled over. American cars usually only on the side of the road cause they broke down or had an accident.

What I have noticed in my 12 years on the road, and the 150+ times ive been pulled over is that the big city (Milwaukee) cops really don't care about tint, wings, exhaust, etc. They have so many other things that they are looking for it's not really worth their time. But the suburbanite cops are the a-holes. These are the ones that play by the books. Trust me, I know all of the cop games, my father was a cop for 30+ years. I has to grow up in a big long interrogation room. But back on the subject, small city cops have nothing better to do than remember who you are, what car you drive, where you live, where you work.

After I recieved my wing ticket, I have noticed more and more squads cruising past my house. I live in a very huge sub-division of about 1500+ houses. Before all of this happened I was lucky to see a cop once a year going past my house, or when ever my neighbors called during party nights.

And all you people whining about SUV's, shut up. They use 87 octane, at least most of them do. Maybe these people had the money to buy a big enormous boat to cruise down the street. Just remember you spent 30k on a toy.
