why change the strut bar?

why change the strut bar?

Beside the weight of the stock strut bars why do people change it? The stock ones should be strong enough correct?

My guess is it's for the additional bling factor.

It would seem that a decrease in weight and an increase in structural rigidity would be the biggest reasons. Than again, you also have the all important bling factor as an added bonus.
