I understand your point but you and I know by human nature if you did that you would prob have some officer that is haveing a bad day, or dare I say one with an ego that would beat the hell out of you or on a softer note arrest you for being dissrespectful

 

I doubt they would beat you up for no reason else they would lose their job, but I just want to say I have respect for all officers....I didn't want to give off the vibe I was bashing them. I was very respectful to the officer that wrote me the ticket and he was to me as well. In fact it almost seemed as if he felt bad for giving me the ticket towards the end. I just need to stay out of Texas.

 

I love the military and read every post because i said all military was included in law enforcement.

Man, you got "Profiled." Nearly the exact same thing happened to my wife last summer. The cop--facing the other way--had somebody pulled over, after my wife passed by, he pulled a u-ey, then pulled her over. The cop said he pulled her over because she was driving without her lights on. The lights were on. And when he asked for her license and asked if it was her car, to which she replied yes, he let her go. My wife was 52 years old at the time. The exhaust is a Borla--one of the quietest aftermarket out there, hell, I've heard

And i am in the military Don't confuse the two we get more SH** From cops here than anyone they look to screw you if you are military in a military town!!!

 

So true. A couple of my good friends were going to pilot school at Fort Rucker and said the same thing. Cops would bust their ***** all the time. One of them even came out in the morning to find a ticket on his windshield for parking the wrong way. This was on a residential street away from any major streets. The time on the ticket was at 3am!

 

I live in Enterprise, just outside of Ft. Rucker. I drive by cops all the time with my noisy a$$ Evo, I hav been here for 8 months, and they never even look at me. I am not ghetto, however. I carry myself very professionally and never speed (Aroud the cops...ha ha ha ha).

These Alabama towns do see the Military as a way to pay their salaries though. We are definately a target for the local law enforcement.

Trust me though, it is WAY WAY WAY better than California! I am not getting my car towed for having a stupid intake...or intercooler, or any of that. Plus, I can tint my front windows.

OMG! I dont know how to reply to all this crap! This thread needs to be closed because some idiots like to ramble on about how the police are f'd up. Give us a break! Sure some of us write stupid tickets, get over it! I put my life on the line everyday for what, a paycheck, I think not. I dont get paid enough to die for some idiot who hates the cops. I come to work not because of the pay, but because "someone has to do it". What if I threw down my gun and every other cop out there did the same. Who's gonna protect you and your family now!

Just remember police officers are just like everyone else. Not everyone does the same thing, therefor not every officer is going to give you a ticket for the same thing. Me for one hate writing tickets and you must of done something very stupid if I do.

I still cant beleive some of you still say f*ck the police. << all I have to say back to that statement is "remember 9/11". Officers gave their lives for people they did not even know, and I bet some of those people once said f*ck the police. I wonder what they think now!

Sorry, but I have to chime in here. Do you really think that if those firemen and policemen knew that those buildings were going to collapse that they would have been up in there? They lost their lives doing a job, their jobs.

Not to discredit them, but I honestly think that if they knew those buildings were going to collapse, they would have been nowhere near there.

 

I didn't mean f the police I just wanted to voice my opinion on stupid speed traps that raise my insurance. I'm going to try the pay too much thing. Maybe I can get them to fumble around with the process so long it wont effect my isurance lol.

Oh and on the ticket it says court date "will notify you" what was that officer thinking? They don't even have my proper address on the ticket lol! I could probably just let the ticket sit for a year and if they ***** about it just say.... you never notified me.

 

i love cops...but when im in my car i hate them. you know if we had an autobahn like in germany i will be willing to bet speeding tickets will go down like a mother. some just feel the need for speed and we would be able to take it out on the autobahn. you know in germany they have less death rate than in US and have part that have NO SPEED LIMIT. our highway system was also designed similar like the autobahn all we have to do is take some signs down.

as for all the stupid loud exhaust, or no front plate, that is stupid. cops need to look for the beater cars leaking oil or smoking and send them to emmissions to clean up the environment. if i was president i would change all of this
