If you have not read my last post ( several weeks ago ) about throwing around the idea of starting my own business, well heres an update for you who have read the prior post, and for of you who haven't i'm sure you can pick up just fine from here.

Me and my friend are sending in our fictious name form tomorrow and we have a lot going for us. My uncle has his own business ($200,000+ a year s-corp) so he's helping us A LOT in terms of legal matters. My girlfriend's dad is a CPA so he will help us as well.

Our company name is GnV Motorsports. My partner already registered GnVMotorsports.com and will be designing it over this semester. It stands for our last names. G is for Stephen Gerwel, me. The V is for my partner, Christopher Viccaro.

Our plan is to gather as much money as possible to safely start this business ( loans from family, and our jobs).... I don't want to unleash all the details, but we are going to buy some parts and pay ClubWRX and Evolutionm.net whatever they ask for to becoming a vendor. In May or June, we will have a Grand Opening sale, all of exhausts, intakes, BOVs, intercooler hoses, etc. We will have limited quantities, like 5 or so of each. It will be up to you guys to help make this work.

Look in May/June for our Grand Opening Sale! We will offer very competitive prices, compared to places like Gruppe-s, Lancershop, and Machevo. We will start off selling small things like exhausts, intakes, Intercooler pipes, and various small items. We will sell all of the parts then start all over again, until we make decent money to get our own warehouse and buy way more parts in bulk. I will eventually retire this name, SteveEvo8, in return for GnV Motorsports and vendor status on a few forums.

Any comments/suggestions on what I just posted would be GREATLY appreciated.

It'll work; Steve and I are sure of it.

Our first batch of products will be WRX-only because I have a few people who will patronize us, and also it will be cheaper to be a Vendor on only one forum at first. After that , we will start selling more and expanding. Hopefully you guys can help us out: give us a shot and remember us whenever you are thinking about your next upgrade

It'll be hard but good luck First thing to do is have a HUGE blow out sale so that people Nervous/ Uneasy will see that he/she did it and they said it was great , giving them the peace of mind that even tho your are infact small you are more than capable

 

i will support you by buying some parts from you if you can beat other vendors' prices. 80% of the vendor are charging too much for upgrade parts!!! making us broke!!!

 

no doubt.. alot of vendors charge big $$ for the product..maybe u can hook it up with the cf hood at reasonable price.GL with the business.
