Well, i made the move today, and bought a 05 Black with the leather and sun and sound package. I love it. Traded in my 04 srt-4. What a difference. Im so happy to be back into a AWD agian. Forgot how nice it is. Im now on the wait for the odometer to hit 1000 so i can hook-up my Profec-2 and get me a dyno flash. Anyways, hope i dont catch to much doo doo, for having been a neon owner b4 the lancer. I know how you guys can get on these forums j/k. c-ya Billy

Nothing wrong with Dodge, the srt4 is a lot of bang for the buck. SCC rated it car of the year once....
....but the EVO has now been car of the year two times in a row now. Welcome home. AWD is good.

the lot had one two weeks ago, i went in and wasnt sure if wanted to make the move yet. I had a eblue srt-4. needless to say when i went back it was gone. But no worries, black is badddd.

 

Im located outside the portland metro area. one of the main reasons for finally getting a evo.
northwest=rain. srt=fwd rain and fwd= no traction! last dyno on the srt to the wheels was 298/332. Very fun car, but the smile on face now is way bigger than the dodge could ever bring.

Congats and good choice! I'm planning to do the same thing if my damn SRT-4 ever sells. It's only been on private party sale for 2 weeks now but it feels like a lifetime.

A couple questions...

• How much did they give you for the SRT-4?
• Was it returned to stock?
• How many miles were on it?

And of course how do the 2 cars compare...power, handling, tranny, rattles, etc.

 

Congrats, I'm envious though. I remember my pulse being sky high on the drive home from the dealer because I couldn't believe how razor sharp the car was in comparison to anything else I had ever driven. Give us your impressions in a couple weeks.
