I had the car dyno’d/tuned and it made 317 WHP and 286ft/lbs on the dynojet. I’m very happy with the way the car feels and drives. The power does not stop from 3,000 – 7,000! The car drives so much better than before. I liked my evo before yesterday but now I LOVE my Evo! Thanx to TurboTrix!!!! BTW the 272’s idle isn’t that bad, I kinda like it. I would post my Dyno chart but i cant figure it out..... help and ill post
how much did it cost you?

Could the fact that he's not running an intake with the 272's be causing the lower numbers? Just a thought. People see 15-20 extra hp when throwing an intake on top of TBE/Boost controller/Reflash, so I would think even more of a difference would be realized with the 272's.

The idle gets slow sometimes and acts like it might stall.... but then picks up and is fine. I really dont mind it. If you are thinking about doing the 272's id say go for it.

Should I get a full intake? or a drop in filter..... HKS/K&N? you may be right.... it might get me another 15WHP

Its the XEDE. Mark said something in a prior post about not wanting to mess with the XEDE to much, so he gets a conservative tune.

He def has low numbers right now.

i got practically the same numbers as him with everything he has minus cams.

Did you buy your Xede new or has it been in other cars? You'll have no trouble selling it for at least $700.

But, selling it IMO, would be a mistake. Your numbers are pretty good on 93 octane - plenty of time for fine tuning in the future. BUT you still have your 2nd map ready for a race fuel tune: that will not be an option with a flash. If you don't mind paying for more dyno time, I will email you my Stage 1+ map for 91 and my race fuel maps. Also, did you take the little brass restrictor pill out of the boost selonoid line AND add the bleeder valve? Or did you just take out the pill?

Finally, keep that BOV as tight as you can stand it. If it isn't bugging you, leave it alone.

I was gonna say, when I had my car dyno'ed & tuned by TurboTrix a couple months ago, I made 321whp & 318torque @ 24psi on 93 octane.

And that was WITH a boost leak (which turned out to be my Greddy Type-S, should be closer to 350whp now).

My mods are 3" downpipe, test pipe, exhaust, AEM short ram intake, MBC, walbro fuel pump & HKS 272/272 cams.

The Xede is new..... thanx for offering your 91 map, but i use 94 every day (NJ gas!). I did take the little pill out when i installed the Xede. I might get a little more when Shiv does a custom tune.
