If you go to

http://www.mitsubishicars.com/MMSA/jsp/evo/exterior.jsp
Click on door with balance performance stated wt distrubution to be 52/48 and on the spec it stated 60/40?

Which is correct? Please verify.

Well it is the official site of the Evolution so 60/40 weight distrubution should be official and confirmed

Yeah there seems to be a few mistakes in the web page. They say the brakes are 17" in one part. But in the specs it says 14" fronts and 12" rears. Mitsu needs to proof read

As for brake size in japan they verify size by what rim will fit. I'm prety sure 14" is correct for the front.

I can't wait

It's going to be one awesome car. Now i'm just curious if we get acd through ralli arts

FACT: the correct weight distribution is 60/40... 53/48 is an error.

FACT: The front brake rotors are 12.65 inches and 11.8 inches in the rear.

I know this because I am the Product Manager for Lancer Evolution for MMNA.

So your telling me it's another typo? Hard to believe since they even did the conversion correctly. I've found these typos just looking at it rapidly and i doubt is that incompetent in their work Sorry,i'll just wait to see if the specs are correct.

I am glad that someone from the production line is here with us to share some info. Unfortunately, if you take a look at any of the side pictures of the US EVO, you will see that difference between front and rear rotors is way more than 0.85", as you specified. I wish I would know what the real numbers are, but the difference is not what you where stating up there. Sorry!

Choose to believe what you want.. But I've been watching this forum now for over 2 years and am very impress with the amount of information you have been able to collect.. This website alone almost shut down a photo shoot schedule in Las Vegas... Congratulations.. I'll try to make it much harder next time with EVO9.

Right on if you are who you say...thanks for finally joining us.
How about a simple part number...say a part number for the tail-lamp assembly?...just to show that you are who you say. We'll be able to verify that without too much difficulty. Just a show of good faith, my man, so we knows--ya know.

Well, themothership has finally landed and became active on this forum. Welcome.

BTW, you won't have to try and hide info on the Evo 9 from us when the time comes, as we already know what it's going to be like. It's going to be based on the feedback of your loyal customers, us, or at least that's how it should be if you're a good manager and want to keep your job.
