xede flash vs dynoflash
xede flash vs dynoflash
Which one is considered better? Which one has less issues, I'd rather take the one with less issues even if it has less gain. Please leave feeback thanks

DynoFlash customers will tell you to DynoFlash is better.
Vishnu customers will tell you Vishnu is better.
As for boost gauge: Just buy one. You don't need to worry about boost spikes with most of the flashes but the Works flash might be a different story.

The best thing you can do it to go to each of their forums under the "vendor forums" section and read up on each. This topic is highly debated and can lead to a flame fest. Both are great products and using one or the other depends on what you want to do with the car.
The XEDE is a piggyback that uses the signals from the stock ECU to change fuel, timing, etc. It also controls boost so that you do not need a separate boost controller. The XEDE is great for “do-it-your-self” type crowd allowing you to tune your own car (hopefully on a dyno
) You can also download more maps from the Vishnu website if you upgrade your car. I think a XEDE is great for those that upgrade their car more frequently. You can also store two maps in the XEDE. For example, one map may be your daily pump gas map and the other map could be used for race gas and higher boost levels.
The dynoflash is also another great product. You can get several different tunes from them depending on your bank account.
I tend to think that dynoflash is good for those that do not have easy access to a dyno and would like to get another 20-30whp (or more depending on mods) out of their car. Al can also tune out the lumpy idle from cams if you do not like the lope that cams give. I’m not sure if this is still done, but I think dynoflash has the ability to store a second map on the ECU also. I have seen some very good results from Dynoflash in drag racing.
Hope this helps, and check out the vendor forums here:

Read a little too quick...just saw that it was about Xflash and not the XEDE :P

looking at my sig would give away which I would pick, just a big fan of shiv and vishnu they make killer products and the car still has a stock feel to it. I cant give a good answer to you man with out being partial to vishnu.
I honestly dont know what each company is changing for there flashes so you may consider calling each company and asking which is better and why..

The Xedeflash is a supplement to the Xede which is a user adustable interface (piggy back). The Dyno flash is complete in and of itself and can be as customized or "off the shelf" as the applicaton and customer warrants it to be. Which is best is highly subjective and depends largely on the end users skills and objectives.
