US Tommy Edition RS can it be titled???
Well found this on ebay.

But the seller says no title as its a race car only? Anyone else seen one or have one. And is there any way to get it on the street?

Hey guys. Please do a search. There are a grip of threads on this forum about people trying to title/register/insure/drive non US spec Evos in the US.
But the short of it is that it can't be easily done....which is why the Evo mentioned in this thread is listed as "race-only"...that probably outlines the method with which it was imported into the US also. When a car is imported as "race-only" it cannot be titled or registered for use on public streets.
SC~

One thing you could do is buy a Mirage of the same model year and do a Vin# switcheroo....but that is an illegal practice. And if you ever had to make an insurance claim on the car, your insurance company would notice. They would then refuse that claim and file insurance fraud charges against you.
I have to agree with SC. Unless you know a foreign diplomant you will never get a truely legalized non-us spec Evo. Trust me I know. Give it up and be happy with the VIII or wait another 12 years to import an Evo I legally

Seems you could title anything just going ot cost you.
