I have a 04 gsr with 8k miles and stock clutch. We did about 10 pulls on the dyno all 4th gear runs. Did a pull after each mod all in the same day. I put down 215/219 stock. 219/220 with turboxs intake. Then put on turboxs 3"dp and 3"cb and put down 227/225. Put in catdel pipe and put down 239/238. Installed turboxs mbc @19-20 psi and put down 249/250. I now took off the mbc because weather changes soo much down here I kept hitting fuel cut when it gets cold and got sick of messing with it so I guess im back to 239, but runs strong. Out of all my mods, the test pipe by far made the biggest difference.

Any Idea what a stock (average) Evo put down on that dyno?

on a AWD dynojet

I know thats not anything great but I feel its about average

what do you guys think

(I will post the graph when Dan email's it to me) I dont have a scanner so I cant scan the print out in.

Also I am running very rich still (safe) but if I lean it out a little bit in some spots I think I could gain 10 or more HP

I have an 05 gsr with and agency intake, dynoed at 248.9hp and 249tq. Done at dynocomp in Scottsdale AZ.

AFR runs rich after 3500rpm. Boost peaked at 21 then tapered to 16.5

so I guess my pull was pretty decent... The exhaust must have picked up at least 15 horsepower

Did you get the o2 housing with the exhaust? The RNR looks like a work of art in the Exhaust thread..

On the same dyno? Dynos read differently from dyno to dyno, sh*t even the same dyno can read differently on seperate days. A dyno slip should only be looked at as part of the picture, not the complete picture. That didn't make any sense, basically what I'm trying to say is not to look so deeply into dyno #s, I know a dyno can be very important, and is. But it's not a 100% accurate and with so many different dynos and different conditions effecting the outcomes, it's hard to really compare. Dang it's so hard to explain, because I do believe the dyno is very important, I just wish there was a greater uniformanity with the numbers. I thought Dynojets were created to fix these problems, it's time for a better system once again.

nice... if your going to be at the dyno days in Calhoun GA It would be cool to see other MRs there.. im hopeing to break well into the 300's on 93 oct gas when shiv tunes.. As of a few months I ran 292 whp on dynodynamics dyno. Just installed some new cams 272/272 and would guess without a tune it yeilded 10 to 15 hp. So with a little hope and shiv magic I hope to get 320 or better.. 2nd from bottom is vid and charts of my EVO MR

peace
great numbers btw man.
