Evo viii vs. Evo vii verbal comparison
Evo viii vs. Evo vii verbal comparison
Hey guys, i just got off the phone with one of my freinds from the company that does the filming and driving commercials for mistu, hyundai etc....theyve had a yellow evo viii sitting in their warehouse for a while now for filming purposes...i asked him what his thoughts are on the car, as he just filmed a mitsu commercial for this car last week.....he started off by trying to explain to me the car not having ayc, where as i quickly shut him up an said, 'ya i know, how bout the power'........he then continued to say the car really sucks when in the dirt, and its real hard to get the tail out and to control the car.......he said the evo vii is superior there with ayc etc.....as far as power, he said that the car feels just as strong if not stronger that the evo vii, so he was stoked with the performance that the U.S. got......unless any of us will be doing dirt drifts in our 30+ car, i think we should all be more than satisfied with the Evo.....
Hmm, the thing is that when you are driving close or at the 10/10, there is no difference whether you are driving in the dirt or at the dry concrete! If car is tight at 10/10 in dirt it will be at 10/10 on the concrete too!
Also, this is great chance for bunch of you to point out that the most people don't need to drive at 10/10s ever, and so the above statement have no real weight, but you would be just missing the point!
Have fun!

10/10 is a word we use in the racing world to mean "at 100% of the car (or your) capacity".
When someone says "I took that corner 8/10th", he/she meant that there was more room left to go faster.
10/10th means driving at the limit of your car, or your own ability, which can greatly vary depending on your expertise as a racer. Usually, 10/10th of your ability is less than 10/10th of the car's ability, unless you are a professional racer.
