So I'm to understand there is a small switch on the ignition (Evo9MR, but iirc it's the same on 7.8.9) that handles the door chime. Basically, when the dealer did my airbag they must've knocked this or something and now my door chime is on all the time like the key is in the ignition. Does anyone have a part number or a diagram I can reference to GET to a part number? I'm trying to find out what their story is...

Also kyoo, I don't have that PN but I can just go measure the bolts for you if you just want a spec?

@ProPilot04

The circuit diagram is in the manual Group 90 page 150

I'm confused by what you're telling me here? It looks like C207, it also seems fairly simple to fix. I was asking for the PN to see if the component is in fact available as they are telling me they aren't able to source them easily...

Hello. Not advising on anything. Just letting you know that the circuit diagrams that you requested can be found in the manual

Take apart your steering column trim and you should see a box next to the key switch. This is the chime box. It chimes to let you know if the key is in the ignition.

This box is brittle and easy to break when taking apart the steering column trim. If its broken you need to buy the harness with the LED, chime box, and copper ring.
