We dont' have the word evolution on the trim on the passenger side where the air bag is. Did they get rid of that for the 8 or the U.S. get's lancer style trims? Just curious because if we are suppose to I'll probably tell people i know in asia to order me one.

I'm not talking about the lancer instead of evolution written on the guage cluster but the titanium look trim on the passenger side. I think it was a sticker or something.

 

Why is this important?
Does your passenger need it to know it's an Evolution?
I bet a GTR badge would fit there.

I believe the 8 doesn't have it, but they have the carbon fiber badging right near the shifter instead... the US version doesn't appear to have that.

I think they sell the GT-R badge in auto zone. I'll tell everyone that the EVO GTR is better than Honda's Type R GTR. LOL

Not important just curious because my sister's friend family owns a sticker shop in asia and they have most of the stickers. For example I already have the Ralliart badge for the trunk but now I need a car to put it on.

 

I was wondering....in all the Japanese pics of the Evo, I've noticed that each has it's own Japanese person inside. And I noticed that in all the pics I've seen so far of the US's VIII, it doesn't seem that there are any Japanese people included....

That's just more proof that is screwing us over with the U.S. version! No ACD, no AYC, no 6-speed, and now no Japanese people!
