Anybody? Motor trend said it was forged. We have alloy wheels. or forged aluminum?

Weight would be helpful too.

 

I found out it's not forged. How much does the evo VII wheels weighs?

8 wheels are about 3lbs lighter

 

EVO8 uses a new alloy wheel techinque which is a first for any production vehicle. The outer wheel rim is casted alluminum and inner spokes are spun alluminum.. The combination of the cast + Spinning method alloys the wheel to be both high-strength and weightlight.

 

I guess that's good enough for winter use . I hope the offset is +38 or +46 so I can purchase a set of forged TE37 b/c mags are to expensive.

 

I don't have the spec in front of me, but I recall the offset being 38

I'm really **** about wheel not balancing after wear and tear. I'm glad to hear they are great alloys. I also like the white forged enkei, let us know if Mitsubishi decide to import them through ralliarts.
