Choose your Victims carefully!

Driving on the parkway the other afternoon a plain looking white -late 90's- Chevy van gets next to me and pumps the gas several times -pathetically- in an attempt to get me to show my EVO's goods. Although there may be times that I'd want to put this putz far behind me in a fit of accelerating bliss I didn't ...This time. I soon found out that it was a good thing I choose this path because after another mile I noticed the van in my rear view engage a set of red flashing lights hidden under his otherwise stock looking grill and make an illegal parkway U-Turn to go the other direction. I'd like to hear from you describing unusual Unmarked Police Vehicles that you may have come across so that we can keep an eye out for'em ...After all, there sure keeping an eye on us!

Another story on under cover cops trying to "race" an EVO just to pull them over. This is crap.

There is a thread about a guy getting pulled over by an unmarked mustang that provoked the Evo driver.

what all owners need is a inside camera setup like the cops.

To record what the hell is going on, so we could use it at the court.

yeh, but once they take off with you, it becomes that.

not only are they breaking the law, but it's forcing you to take action.

that's an entraptment.

but if you race a van, you need to goto jail for a day. lol.

unfortunately, it's not - it's only entrapment if they get you to do something you normally wouldn't do. they're within their rights to 'bait' you...

it's like on cops when they put an undercover lady cop on a street corner and bust the guys who offer her money for sex. them reving their engine at you is just bait...and if you take the bait, you're screwed.

this only holds some water IF they race you - they're not going to actually race you...just like the lady cop in my hooker example isn't actually going to.......well, you know

point well said, it's just bait to see if you'll bite. there are all kinda unmark vehicles here in TN. mustangs, dodge rams, dodge neons, a few different nissans. they keep changing them up so people can't identify them. the pull up beside you and try to provoak you to race them. If anyone pulls up beside me and trys to get me to race. I just give them a big : and laugh at them. they usually don't have anything fast enough for me to consider racing anyways.
