Anyone buy the forged bov?
i bought the forged bov from evo8.com and it got only the bov. they gave me the number to forged and said it was up to me get the rest of my parts, that it was supposed to come with from them. WTF ! hows that for customer service. Ive left like 4 emails and a couple voice mails for both evo8 and forged and no help yet. correction (evo8 responded by putting it on forged)I purchanced it at end last month! i dont like to come to a forum to bash venders, but geeez, ive spent like 600.00 with evo8(not alot , but enough to be treated right) and get treated like a friggin lepar (sp). anyone else get this kind of treatment? well anyway, just wanted to vent. thanx
i bought my forge BOV VTA from a member on this forum (non vender) and it came with spring/shim and clamp along with the bov itself in EXCELLENT condition. Dont know whats up with that site. I just know i will never shop with them hearing that kinda crappy reponse they gave u. good luck man, its a nice bov btw. I've had Hks SSQ and Greddy type S and its the best (VTA mode).
What else do you need? I bought this BOV from a friend aswell. It only came with the BOV and the different springs, I took out the stock BOV, put in the Forge BOV and turned the car on, I don't understand what else do you need?
We had the remaining items you needed sent to you via UPS Ground on the 7th when you originally e-mailed us.
I had the packaged tracked yesterday, and delivery is scheduled for tomorrow for whatever reason.
This is not something we have any control over any longer. It's in UPS' hands.
Just be patient.
The parts are already on their way to you and at absolutely no charge to you.

If i kept my customers in the dark as to what im doing for them, i wouldnt have many left after a while. Know i what mean? You can disreqaurd my voice mail i left 4 u this evening now. I mean come on guys, you need to at the very least contact your customers and let them know your taking care of their needs. Ive ordered from 3 online venders so far, and consistantly, by all have had very little imput or responce to calls and emails. I totaly understand that most of you are a short handed crew whit a sh#t load of people to take off, but 5 minutes to let a person know whats up is not to much to ask. I still have alot of parts buy, and im thinking that local shops is the way to go now. Im a 32 tuner enthusiast with 80,000 + a year income at my disposal, not a one time buyer, so a little bit of customer service would be great. No special treatment, just basic customer service. thanx for reading my rant. I will go chill now. billy

I've ordered well over $2k in parts from EVO8.COM and nothing but great customer service is what I recieved. They also are extrememly competitive on prices. They even give 2 different AIM names to instant message, and someone always gets back to you...that has been my experience. I've ordered from them for the past yr...and quality scores from me
Billy,
Please trust that no one has left you hanging intentionally.
Regarding the items missing from your original order from Evo8.com, all I can say is that mistakes happen. No one can really be held accountable as we are not sure where the mistake actually happened in the process. Whether our UK office mistakenly forgot to include the extra items before supplying the product to us, or whether something was removed by us, or even if something was removed by Evo8. It's impossible to tell at this point.
I don't personally receive the voice-mails, nor am privy to all of the information included in them, so I can only appologize that the contact lapsed.
Again, we had your items shipped to you immediately after having recieved the appropriate shipping information as we said we would. Once the package has left our hands, it's up to UPS, and on that front, this is the thrid package in as many weeks that has taken longer than the guaranteed delivery time, so I will surely be in touch with our UPS Rep. about this.
Concerning Evo8 and their customer service, I cannot comment as we don't purchase anything from them, however, one mistake should not disuade anyone from purchasing from them. This is not necessarily their fault. It could have been somewhere else in the transit of the product from the CNC machine to Billy's front door where the parts left the box, so they can't be held 100% responsible.
Again, I appologize for the delay in the arrival of the parts to you and for the lapse in communication. Hopefully the situation will be resolved shortly and that you can have full use of the product you purchased.
