I just installed my set of Defi gauges and CU V2 and if I wire it according to their instructions the gauges are only visible with when my car lights are on. Anyone else have this problem? I just linked the ignition and ilumination leads for now. Let me know.

 

By the way, I have searched and researched. and to make it more clear I got the 12v constant from the radio harness and the ign lead too. For the ilumination I used the green and white wire from the lighter harness. Thanx in advance guys.

 

heres what I did:

red wire from CU to the red w/black on radio harness
black wire from CU to black wire on ciggarette lighter
orange wire from CU to red wire on ciggarette lighter(this wire is actually brownish lol)
white wire from CU to green with white wire on ciggarette lighter

my gauges work just fine
