Thumbs up

Hey Guys

Check out link below for detailed EVO 8 Camshaft installation instructions. I'm a little late on this, but this should help out some people.

Well there are so many writeups on doing this stuff to DSM's (eclipses, talons, lasers, 4G63) It's the same parts. If you search the web or try www.vfaq.com it'll have some writeups on the DSM's with 4G63's. Any of the generic stuff, head studs, cams, stuff thats not car specific you can use that as a guide.

I say this is a case wher I would get a step by step guide and install myself!!good luck!!

It's a drive for you, but I'm outside of Orlando, in Cocoa. ZIP 32926 Come on up, let know and we'll have a good time.

You do the work, I'll watch and supervise, use my tools. Can't beat that.

You are the type of people that **** me off, although everyone in my area (NYC) respects me and my prices I still have one of these guys that "offer" me a price to work on their car It takes me 1 hour and 15 minutes to do the cams (fully bled lifters and primed oil pump) and another 30-45 minutes to do the headstuds. I get $235 for the cams and for the heastuds and I have a long list of people waiting for my work. Everyone must understand that just because the job takes lets say 2 hours it does not mean that you get to charge only 2 hours. You pay regardless if it takes 2 hours or 4 hours. Jeez, it takes me 2 1/2 hours to do the clutch on the Evo and I get $450 (with fluids) , I suppose you expext me to charge no more than $50 an hour= $125, are you nuts
SuperZ, well said. People like this **** me off as well.

It's hard to find good honest people these days. If he's willing to work/help for donation the least you can do is make it a fun and pleasant.
