saw a VW r32 w/ phat FMIC
thats what it boiled down for me buy a turbo for my VR or just trade it in and get a car the pretty much run the same times stock with a warranty (and my dealership is mod friendly)

I call B.S.There is a turbocharged R32 here in Nashville that runs 11.80 on 93 octane. You did not beat one in a stock evo unless he wasn't racing and you did a ricer flyby
Funny how everyone is quick to jump on the TTr32 idea. That is a very rare site and if it was an HPA kit it wasn't loosing to an Evo with a couple of boltons. If it was an r32 and not a 1.8T or Vr6 with the r32 front end, it was most likely supercharged since that is the more common mod for those cars. SC'd r32's only put down around 260-280whp and they are still pigs.
yeah all we were sayin or I was saying was that TTR32 would rape a stock evo. Not price wise not mod for mod or any of that. The debate was TTR32 VS stock evo. Now an evo with a reflash, tb, cams, bigger front mount, MBC could probably easily hang and the evo would be the fraction of the price of the TTR32.
