Lightbulb Is the EVO Mitsu's Flagship Vehicle?

Its been over 2 years now and I have yet to see a commercial on the major networks. Come on Mitsu show some product loyalty. Wonder why that is? Hmm.....It would be cool to see one of those big brother little brother commercials like Chevy has for the Vette and Cobalt.

If you didn't know about the EVO VIII before you see a commercial, it's best that you're not driving it. Most companies don't advertise their flagship.

One commercial, and every 2 fast 2 furious kid with the money to spend is in one, doing all kinds of terrible things to them.

Yes, definitely It's not their bread and butter, that's for sure. I have no real idea why they bring it to the U.S., I mean, how much could they really be making off it? The only reason they would bring it is to have a flagship "awesome" model.

There was a commercial produced back in May of 2002....I don't know if it ran or not, but it's really cool....it said, "We didn't just create a car, we created a religion." and it showed the WRC clips, Gran Turismo clips, car shows, and everything....

you can view and download it from SoCalEvo.com. It's on their clips page.

That's Mitsubishi Fuso, they are not the same as Mitsubishi Cars.

It's socalevo.net, and I don't see that clip on there...

Mitsu only sold 14500 Evos worldwide last year, 4550 in the US. It may be the flagship, but it isn't selling in great numbers.

I believe the full size montaro is the most expensive @ $4x,xxx.00?

I think the galant is mitsu's highest selling car right now, we'll see if that changes when the new eclipse comes out maybe?

mitsubishi limits the number of evos a dealer can even order. its not like they dont sell, they just dont make that many to sell here. From what I understand its a profitable car, but not like the ones that are built here ie. galant, new eclipse, endeavor.

The Montero would be the flagship if anything. Its price is around 35,000 for a 2005.

The S2k is the same, no ads for it much either. Same with the NSX, and so on and so on. Why advertise somethign that sells itself?
