Evo low beam adjustment question!!..

ok, i am in need of adjusting my HId's higher cuz they are too low, so first i checked the how-to section and found a write up but then i realized it was for the high beams (10mm socket on the bolt thats infront of the 2 gears). so then searched thru discussions regarding that how to and someone stated that the adjustment for the low beams were different. ( https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...0&page=2&pp=15 ). In his picture, he shows the adjustment for hte low beams, its a small plastic thing. U stick a philips in there and turn and it will raise them. When i went out to my car, i saw that there was a metal piece blocking me from putting anything in there to adjust. I looked more in depth in that area and saw that the metal piece was held on by atleast 2 philips screws which are almost impossible to reach. So now what? am i screwed and cant adjust my HIDs on my 03 evo?

nah what you need to do is get a 10mm socket on the hex head bolt inside the gear wheel. counterclock-wise for up, counterclock-wise for down. just like the writeup says

in reply to vrooompsh, after reading up on the discussion of that how-to i found out the one with the 10mm with the 2 gears adjusts High beams, i went out and tried it and found it it was true, when i stock a 10mm on there and turned, i noticed my HIDs werent doing crap after 3min of turning nonstop,so i turned on my high beams and 1 of my high beams were way up there.
