which company have you gone with?
I have some money to throw around and I've been looking at the stage 1 upgrades from some of the companies like rnr vishnu and buschur. I want to know what companies you've invested in and whos been reliable. Where have you seen good service as well as a good product? I liked the rnr stage 1 kit a lot but I'd like to see others opinions.
I would say it depends on what direction you want to take your car... I personally went with Works and have found them to be reliable and the best option in regards to the things that matter to me; reliable service, tuning and parts. All these things have contributed to my Evos longevity, balance and power. Good luck and have a good time with it!
I havent used any man, but everyone on these forums will have the opinion with whoever they went with. All 3 are amazing shops, the person who tells you will just say I went to them and they were good. I don't think almost anyone here has got tuning done at Buschur and Vishnu / RNR or vise versa. Most people just stick with one person to do thier ****, maybe adding in a Buschur exhaust or something but that doesnt count. That's just thier one product, not thier service, tuning, etc.
All 3 are good, you wont relaly get any idea which you would like best with asking a question like this. Which ever a person went to, they liked becuase they are all good.
Sorry for dragging on my nonsense!

Honestly, if you live close to a shop that tunes evos, that's your best bet. Local tuners are easier to find for tuning, in case there's a problem, etc. Plus, they can analyze a problem in person. There's only so much help someone can give over the phone.

So far this has been a lot better than having someone else tell me what parts will work best on my car, paying them for that service, and in the end being stuck with whatever they offer and the service they feel like giving me. Unfortunately, I don't get to be a fan-boy though, so it gets kind of lonely when everyone jumps on the 'name a big-name shop' bandwagon and goes for a ride on the owners dick.
I guess I'm trying to say that if you put all your eggs in one basket, you're probably not going to get the best result. All the shops make decent parts, some better than others. But one thing is for certain, not a single shop out there is the end-all in performance that trumps the rest of them. In the end, you're better off doing your research about each individual part, how it works in conjunction with the other mods you're planning and then sourcing that part from the best manufacturer while attempting to verify that you won't run into incompatibility issues. But, I know that's a hell of a lot less fun that buddying up to the sales guy of a single shop, forking over a big check for a basket of parts and a shop sticker, and then getting to change your avatar to 'tuned by (your shop), stage 63+++'

I really haven't heard anything bad about any company. Company A's TB may be better than company B's, but company B's flash may be better than company A's. It's all what you want for your car. I personally have been in the process of purchasing a lot of RMR products and have yet to be disappointed. You'll be satisfied with whomever you choose.
