Well, had my car less than a week. People have a tendency to do ricer fly-bys minus the flashers a lot, don't they? Besides a few hondas revving at me (expected), the only other thing was this yellow OZ Lancer pulls up next to me at a light. I'm not really paying attention, so we stop at the next light. THe OZ is behind me, and then slowly crawls up. I happen to look over and it's a girl sitting in there and she gave me "the smile." (and she was easy on the eyes). I've been driving my Camry for 7 years, and I don't ever remembering that happening. Oh well, I'm engaged so no dice, but yeah, this car certainly evokes a different kind of response from people. You single guys must sure have fun

Sorry but alot of this trash talking about the STi kind of annoys me. I happily would like to inform you that most STi drivers are more mature than Evo drivers. Alot of people here are usually the one's trash talking the STi's before they start on you, hence STiKiller.com or whatever it is.

I cut someone off and he looked really really angry so i apologized by waving. Then the guy drives really really fast up next to me and following me at the same speed so i was like "what?! i apologized already!!!". then he looked at me and said "no no no i was just looking at your car, its really really nice!!!"

 

Nice car and where did you get the body kit are pretty common remarks.

I came out of Applebee's one night after dinner on a Friday and these 2 guys and 2 girls are walking up to their Caprice parked next to my '03. One of the guys points to the wing and says sarcastically, "OOOOH LOOOK, I bet it can fly...." Oh if you only knew - moron.

 

Haha, Ive had a few weird things happen to me in my evo
-I was sitting in my car getting ready to walk into work, and some guy in a minivan rolls by at idle (never stopping) and takes a picture of me and the car and gives me the thumbs up.
-I was at Moroso (local dragstrip) and had two guys come up to me saying how my evo was the **** and they took a picture of each of them standing next to it and then video taped a bit.
-various people always at gas stations and mall, etc. saying nice comments.

 

I dont get much attention at all. I drive an RS so 99 percent of the people out there have no idea its an evolution because it doesnt have the wing.

faternal order of police, got me out of 1 fix it ticket so far and apparently if got a couple og these guys out of some high speed tickets, usually 20 bucks a year for your area

I get the girls all the time with the BOV seems all girls have something for them lol.

Tons of good remarks at gas stations

Then i got 16 year olds who have Talons and Eclipses saying the Evo motor and setup is the same as whats in their car

Also got another guy in a Talon with a Evo 3 turbo and everything else stock that can just wipe my car off the street

 

i was in the in n out drive-thru and right before i order my food, the guy goes, "i loooove the evo 8"

another time i was in the mall parking lot and some guy asked me what kinda body kit i had and if i streetrace my car. Thats not the funny part, because his girlfriend was just staring at my car and asked, "can i make love to your car..?" she asked twice.

oh yea, when i pulled in the parking lot, some guy was trying to be slick of taking a picture of my car with his phone. he went all slow too.

 

i guess you suck at driving stick if it feels like you're hitting the brakes when you're just shifting.
