please help. i have a 05 gsr. w/ 5k. now whenever i shift i feel like smething is wrong with my clutch or tranny. i feel a click every time i put it inton different gear. please advsie ifg this is normal. it doesn't go in smoothly anymore. i heard there was some type of fluid i can replace to help my synchrone run smoother. please adise. any help at all?????[/FONT][/COLOR]

 

Hmmm....If your having trouble with EVERY gear, it might not be synchros. Prolly a clutch problem, maybe a bad throwout bearing or pocket bearing since the click? Just a shot in the dark for ya.....

 

well...paying a visit to trusty mechanic never fails...but yeah if you're having trouble with EVERY gear, i dont think its syncros..

also, by feeling click everytime...do you mean that you can hear a click? sometimes my gears wont shift that smoothly either but ive had no problems

 

should i bring my vehicle in for inspection? how hard is it to replace the synchros fluid?

 

mine has the notch feeling on 3rd gear too.
According to other members, BG synchro shift transmission fluid should help. I should change mine soon too.

 

at 20 mph. sometime it's tough to get it into 2nd gear. does anyones do the same?
