Apex'i GT Spec exhaust system

Does anyone have this exhaust system? What are your opinions of this exhaust? Is it hella loud?

Thanks in advance.

Is there any way you would be able to provide a sound clip?

N1 has a nice sound to it and you cant really justify the added expense for the GT over the N1.

they're almost identical for the evo
but apexi has their DECS ECV which lets you control the dB output from the driver seat with the specialized silencer that you insert into the exhaust

here's all the info about the apexi exhausts

Apex'i N1 piping is 70mm.-75mm.-80mm
Apex'i GT Spec is 70mm.-75mm.-85mm

kinda weird, both have megaphone style piping i guess, GT Spec has slightly larger piping, and it's their "top of the line" exhaust. I guess that's how Apex'i justifies the price difference.

shoving the silencer in can't be good for performance at all.

yeah but it may be of use to some people that have to worry about dB levels that can take the 2-3 hp hit of the exhaust flow restriction the device creates

Can I interest you in the Magnaflow Titanium Exhaust? Its not loud and weights less than 12lb. I have it for 900 shipped or 850 shipped if I can get 5 people to buy them.

N1 is a stainless muffler with coated mild steel piping.

GT-Spec is all stainless steel (piping and muffler)
I'll get some pics up.
