No...they are not the same lenses....

When you install the new aftermarkets, they will be better than stock...but they won't be as even as the stock OEM HIDs.....

I have an 05 GSR as well...I got my kit here http://xenondepot.com/category.php?category_id=9

...it is a Phillips kit....

A buddy of mine used to buy the Vision, and the McCulloch kits...but the ballasts go out alot on them....

WHAT? STOCK is the brightest you can get. If you go up 2 6000K your actually light is getting dimmer. And it is the same lens.

correctomundo.....

I actually went with the 4300k kit to keep it closest to stock....plus...it keeps the po-po off my ***.....

Anyhow....What I was trying to get at is...the beam pattern will not be as even as the stock OEMS.

I posted this before but it bears repeating...

4,200K is generally the stock color temperature that HID's from the factory come at. Anything else is just rice. Higher color temperature does not give you more light, it just means the color changed. Lumens is where the brightness is. The point of HID's is to see better.

Blue and purple may look "cool" but it is worse for visibility.

The optics of the projectors are different with the halogens than with the HIDs. I have an OEM PnP kit in mine and when im aimed at a wall at night you can see some scatter above the cut off line because of the halogen projector. Dont get me wrong though, its still a night and day difference than with the halogen bulbs, just not as good as if they came from the factory.
