i think thats the dual port super surge fluttering bov ...jk i dont know but sounds pretty familiar

 

It is hard to tell, just sounds like compressor surge to me.

This is what mine sounds like under light acceleration

 

SSQ? i doubt it because i've had 4 HKS SSQ's on my evo and if i floored it like that guy did, it will blow off with a whistle, i heard NO whistle from that car. If he IS running a HKS SSQ, something is pinched because that is NOT normal.

 

unless he changed the inserts?

 

LOL you sure you aint doing that with your lips. I got an ssqv on my turbo saab, and it sounds nothing like that, but I also never touched the adjustment screw so its possible it is.

 

haha i kno for sure wut it is... ITs the blitz DD bov. I had it on my car. JUst put on the small filter at the end of the bov that comes with it, and thats the distinct sound u get. Its not flutter. Its the blitz DD doing that

 

it really didn't look like the guy was flooring it. yes it sounds very different when releasing lots of boost...

Sounds a lot like the Apex'i Dual Chamber, but not enough for me to say that it is one with any degree of certainty. Aside from it's being huge and clunky, it sure is a nice BoV.
